The unit is installed above doorways in refrigerated, air-conditioned, dust-proof, and insulated environments such as shopping malls, theaters, hotels, restaurants, conference halls, cold storage rooms, operating rooms, and homes. When activated, it separates indoor and outdoor air, allowing for convenient entry and exit while preventing the exchange of hot and cold air between the inside and outside. It also offers dust, pollution, and insect prevention. Widely used in electronics, instrumentation, pharmaceuticals, food, precision machining, chemicals, footwear, services, and commercial industries.

Introduction
Air curtains use a powerful airflow generated by a tangential fan to create an invisible curtain of air. Therefore, they are also known as air screens, air curtains, air curtain machines, air gates, air doors, wind gates, diamond air curtains, diamond air screen machines, and diamond air screen.

Classification
Common air curtain airflow methods include top, side, and bottom delivery.
Top Delivery Air Curtain
The air curtain is installed at the top of the doorway. Top delivery air curtains are easy to install, do not take up building space, do not affect the building's aesthetics, and have better airflow hygiene. They are suitable for general public buildings. Although the efficiency of top delivery air curtains in blocking outdoor cold air is not as good as bottom delivery air curtains, they are still the most promising type. General doorway air curtains primarily aim to block outdoor cold (or hot) air, usually only having an air outlet and no return air vent, allowing the jet to contact the ground and diffuse freely into the room. This type of doorway air curtain is called a simple air curtain. For buildings with higher requirements, to better organize airflow, an air outlet is installed above the door and a return air vent on the ground, with the air being filtered, heated, and recycled.
Side Delivery Air Curtain
Air curtains are installed on the sides of the doorway, divided into single-side and double-side types. In industrial buildings, when the exterior door width is less than 3 meters, single-side airflow is recommended. When the exterior door width is 3-18 meters, single-side or double-side airflow, or top-to-bottom airflow, is recommended. To avoid obstructing airflow, doors with side delivery air curtains are strictly prohibited from opening inwards.

The air curtain is installed below the ground. Because the strongest area of the jet in a bottom delivery air curtain is at the bottom of the doorway, its efficiency in blocking cold winter air from entering through the bottom of the doorway is the best, and it is not affected by the opening direction of the door. However, the air outlet of the bottom delivery air curtain is underground, easily blocked by dirt, and the downward airflow can easily lift up skirts, which is unpopular. Bottom delivery air curtains are rarely used.
